Our philosophy has always been, you have to want to be there. We probably turn down twice as many kids as we accept.

These aren't kids out stealing cars or that sort of thing. This isn't a criminal justice (situation). That's not who we are. ...I think that's the perception. It's just not the reality.

The county owns a fair amount of property on Falling Creek Road.

These children are foster-care children. It's not a juvenile detention center.

We have saved the county millions since its inception.

For the most part, coaches have the same philosophy, they are there for the kids. I've made a lot of great relationships with coaches. It's a working relationship for all of us.
