We have saved the county millions since its inception.

The county owns a fair amount of property on Falling Creek Road.

These aren't kids out stealing cars or that sort of thing. This isn't a criminal justice (situation). That's not who we are. ...I think that's the perception. It's just not the reality.

Our philosophy has always been, you have to want to be there. We probably turn down twice as many kids as we accept.

These children are foster-care children. It's not a juvenile detention center.

This is the most important decision this board has faced since its inception. This is a tremendous opportunity that would benefit the quality of life for all our citizens. It's an opportunity we can't afford to miss.
