We're up a little bit, but I would not call it a real large increase.

I think the market's getting geared up for that release. Many are looking for a large increase (in non-farm payrolls).

I wouldn't call it an antagonism as much as one not knowing anything about the other.

I think most market participants expect further increase. This is not going to be necessarily the end. I think they were hoping for a neutral stance coming out of it. But I think they having thought about it said, well, the Fed really is on top of this, the Fed is on top of inflation and there's a concern about slowing down the economy. And I think that helped it [the market] come back.

This isn't an increase to $30 a month, in fact for a large part of Australia it is a decrease.

The fact MEW did not fully correct the large Q2 increase supports our view that conditions in the housing market are improving and that this will, at some point, lead to increased household consumption.
