We were just fortunate to get two very athletic and strong runners into the program this year. They're running very well. And our fifth and sixth runners are starting to come on. They ran very well today, so that's a good sign.

Heather and Courtney have been our seasoned veterans this year. They've played first and second in every race we've ran. But what's made the difference for us is what two freshmen --- Olivia Booker and Meagan Hewitt -- have given us.

Elizabeth Baker has improved so much. She's got a great kick and is finishing races really well. That's what we're working on with Heather right now, that finishing kick.

Running gave me a focus to start looking after myself, to eat properly, and focus on building up my strength.

I've been in a recording studio enough times to know that it is not the best place to multitask. Doing a couple of takes of a song and running out to check your email to talk to someone about video production really is not good.

Life equals running and when we stop running maybe that's how we'll know life is finally finished.
