We use food, in every situation. When we're happy, sad, lonely. At my church, nobody would think to bring a bottle of vodka, but food? Food is a legalized drug. It's an epidemic.

The program was great, but it didn't offer any help with the food. It helped me to a degree, but I got to a point where I couldn't lose more weight, and I got frustrated.

It really gives you guidance and structure.

Here I was coming up on 45 myself and thinking I don't want to do the family statistic thing and die young.

The church as a whole has come to the revelation that the old ways of trying to get the gospel out don't work for the young generation. If you want people to hear the good news, you have to make it really good news.

Welcoming back previous vendors as well as the new vendors, the entertainers and the church groups sponsoring food booths is what has made us a success.
