We should get a flood of applicants. A couple of guys from our current staff will probably apply, too. We're going to open it up and look at every application, so it will be an arduous task.

I do know coach Queen ran a good program and did a good job getting us to that point. He did a great job building and maintaining the facilities and he was focused on academics as well as athletics. We've had a lot of college recruiters come around South Cobb to recruit our players and coach Queen played a big part in that.

Yes, it was a pretty big surprise. It sort of caught us off guard. I knew he was planning to apply for the North Cobb job, but it was definitely a surprise. He felt like this was the best thing to do for his family, and I can respect that.

It's a real possibility. I think someone will win it two years in a row. I've said it since I won it. If I won it twice, someone can do it twice.

I will definitely adopt. And I probably will adopt even if it does happen naturally.

The horse is sore but he is fine and will be okay. He had a nasty cut underneath on his tummy but will live to fight another day. He ran a blinder and from looking like he was only going to be fourth or fifth, fought back to get third, so it was a great performance.
