We plan to change the way people see Aberdeen from not just the outside, but from within.

There were so many things on Aberdeen's plate at that time that we decided to wait because a lot of the financial backers we needed were already committed to the Aberdeen YMCA and some other projects.

We had so many great ideas, but not enough money to make a lot of it happen, so we came up with the idea to get private funding to help.

We have no plans to change the name because we're confident we will prevail in court. We believe the name carries a meaning that is nothing but honorable.

There have been some hard times, people around me supported me.
