We had so many great ideas, but not enough money to make a lot of it happen, so we came up with the idea to get private funding to help.

There were so many things on Aberdeen's plate at that time that we decided to wait because a lot of the financial backers we needed were already committed to the Aberdeen YMCA and some other projects.

We plan to change the way people see Aberdeen from not just the outside, but from within.

We used to be up against a lot of stupid money that invested in bad ideas. Now that most of the bad businesses have disappeared, the remaining companies are getting down to doing some real business.
