We let down a little bit tonight and I know all the other girls feel the same. We're going to come back Saturday ready to play. We'd like to say we're going to bring our 'A' game.

Marion definitely had an advantage with a larger track team. They were able to put several girls in each event, so that more points were received for placement. Our team is small so I was unable to use several girls in every event, but we focus on quality not quantity.

Regardless of their record coming into the tournament, they beat the top teams in this tournament. The other nights of the tournament were theirs ... Tonight just happened to be ours.

We let up a little bit, but it was fun to start with the other three seniors. We all played together for Svendsen as freshmen. That's the last time we started together.

It's pretty cool to interact with the younger girls and be a role model to them.

There are still girls with a lot of talent coming back. I'm not sure if they're going to have quite the bond that we all had.
