It's pretty cool to interact with the younger girls and be a role model to them.

When I was a freshman, I used to lose my cool when someone got a hit, but now, I'm better at controlling it. Now, I rely on my fielders.

Not having a lot of fights, it makes for a better team. We've all grown up together.

Marion definitely had an advantage with a larger track team. They were able to put several girls in each event, so that more points were received for placement. Our team is small so I was unable to use several girls in every event, but we focus on quality not quantity.

We let down a little bit tonight and I know all the other girls feel the same. We're going to come back Saturday ready to play. We'd like to say we're going to bring our 'A' game.

There are still girls with a lot of talent coming back. I'm not sure if they're going to have quite the bond that we all had.
