We hope that English speakers and Spanish speakers will come together for these events.

The idea is that the parents can head to one corner and the teens can head to another.

I hope that some people who do not consider themselves feminists will still attend some of the events and gain a better understanding of how issues that they might be interested in are also women's issues.

You don't want to call it a blessing, but it is a chance. You need hope and a sense of place. These ideas have provided that. They seem to be resonating with an awful lot of people out here.
