We have drafted this measure and taken this action today because of the problem that illegal immigration presents to the residents of California.

We've definitely struggled all season, especially shooting from beyond the arc. We're going to come in early (today) and get some extra work done.

The original measure did not go far enough to stop eminent domain abuses, but my version that was approved today in committee is the strongest pro-property-owner legislation to come before the legislature this year.

Questions are being asked less frequently. The measure language was just recently formalized for the June ballot. Prior to this, our hands were tied in promoting the measure because we didn't have the exact language. Now it's written in stone and we can formally talk about it and let voters know what is on the ballot.

I didn't see why it was such a problem to look into some added safety features.

This is not the right thing to do. We should protect traditional marriage and uphold all of those values and institutions that have made our society and keep our society together today.
