Questions are being asked less frequently. The measure language was just recently formalized for the June ballot. Prior to this, our hands were tied in promoting the measure because we didn't have the exact language. Now it's written in stone and we can formally talk about it and let voters know what is on the ballot.

Basically our organization has 16 members, but it's open to anyone who wants to get involved. Our objective is to get out in front of anyone or group to provide them with information.

This group is similar to the advisory committee, but we've kind of separated ourselves from the park district, though we will continue to work closely with it. Basically we'll be funded by donations. Any individuals or groups willing to donate and help spread the information is greatly appreciated. A number of groups have already donated to help the cause.

We have drafted this measure and taken this action today because of the problem that illegal immigration presents to the residents of California.
