We got a chance to meet a girl who spent most of her life in foster care. You could sense, even though she was over 18 and she wasn't going to be adopted, you could still sense how much she still wanted to be adopted, how much she wanted a place.

These children can go out and have children of their own, but they don't have a good basis for parenting. And they're running out of time.

Children who are older, I worry that they'll leave care feeling like what's happened in their lives is their fault. I don't want them going through life thinking that anything that's happened is their fault or that they're undeserving of unconditional love or a family.

We'll have a chance for even greater exposure.

She wanted to go somewhere and accomplish things. For her life to be taken is just unfair.
