We encourage people to develop their own proposals, handle jobs and meetings, be flexible and independent. It's been a nice formula for growth.

There's nothing more frustrating than dealing with someone who's not capable of making a decision.

There are people who want to fight for their jobs. We aren't willing to make any concessions. We want the contract adhered to. We have a good contract.

Everyone can relate to us because we're normal people. Many of us have jobs.

John allows people to do their jobs by not micro-managing. Yet, at the same time, he stays on top of everything. He allows and encourages people to be creative. There's a great deal of dialogue and discourse that takes place among the coaching staff about the way things should be. Some people have a tendency in the way they manage to mute that. John does a good job of allowing healthy confrontation, because it brings out better ideas and decisions.

I'm sure there are higher-paying jobs, but it's not about the pay, it's about helping the people. Helping people when they're going through this becomes more important than anything.
