We certainly don't operate with a huge surplus, so we could be losing money at any given time. We're not unlike any other department in the district.

This is a really difficult time for the Food Services Department. Especially since, at the beginning of the year, we didn't think we would be in a position to make cuts at this point. We've been doing really well and we're working so hard.

Our buildings are really needed by our public. We have four different categories that we put the different groups in so we know what to charge.

They're not losing anything in the way of deductions. And their money is locked up for a long time.

There's so much joy in being able to contribute a little bit, ... It's not a lot of time or money but the rewards are great.
