We came ready to play. For not playing for a week, we came out shooting the ball well and played with a lot of energy.

Kristyn worked on her game more during the off-season than before. Hopefully, Maria will be able to play. Some kids will get valuable experience because she's out. Either way, it a transition year.

Our kids know their kids really well and there's no hard feelings or dirty play. It's always just two good teams competing and getting after it.

We only have 12 players this year, and they can all play different positions, but no one needs to get hurt.

My thought would be that as the coach of the team, he did play a role in the naming, and, at the time, we had every reason to believe he was Native American. That's what little we know.

We have a great post presence and are physical inside. Now hopefully we will continue to play well.
