Our kids know their kids really well and there's no hard feelings or dirty play. It's always just two good teams competing and getting after it.

We came ready to play. For not playing for a week, we came out shooting the ball well and played with a lot of energy.

Kristyn worked on her game more during the off-season than before. Hopefully, Maria will be able to play. Some kids will get valuable experience because she's out. Either way, it a transition year.

That's what we start with from day one. The kids play with a high energy level, and that allows us to do a lot of different things on defense. Our defense is our staple.

I have to give our kids credit for bowing up and making the play there at the end.

They have a new coach and a new system. Their kids always play hard and we expect them to be up for this game.
