This was one of the most terrible and horrible events in our history and they want to come into court and ask you to award them a judgment, ... That would be wrong. It would not be supported by anything that would be just and right.

Events are the ephemera of history; they pass across its stage like fireflies, hardly glimpsed before they settle back into darkness and as often as not into oblivion. Every event, however brief, has to be sure a contribution to make, lights up some dark corner or even some wide vista of history. Nor it it only political history which benefits most, for every historical landscape--political, economic, social, even geographical--is illumined by the intermittent flare of the event.

The historical events that have occurred here and the fabric and flow of history - this is very broad. Obviously its been a place that people have been to for many, many, many years.

Things just happen, one after another. They don't care who knows. But history... ah, history is different. History has to be observed. Otherwise it's not history. It's just... well, things happening one after another.

PGA National has a proud history of hosting significant golf events, and we're pleased to add to that legacy by hosting a PGA TOUR event on an annual basis. We believe the Champion Course will prove to be an outstanding venue for The Honda Classic.
