This game had a great atmosphere. I'm glad we came out with a win. And I helped the team win.

Breaking the record means I've accomplished something and won't be forgotten at Moss Point. I didn't think about record until mid-season when I had a shot at breaking it.

We knew they were going to sag on me, so coach (Brain) Brooks told our guards to hit some shots.

We've had long layoffs earlier in the season. It didn't affect us then, and this won't either. I'm ready to play and bring a gold ball to Moss Point.

I am not looking at this game that way. It's an honor to get selected. I want to go out and win my last high school game in Mississippi.

The record is an accomplishment that I'd never thought I'd have. I thought about it midway through the game, but the record doesn't mean as much as winning a state championship.
