Why in the world would high courts want to give deference to a legislature to revoke constitutional rights they have deemed implicit in their interpretation of the constitution. This is disturbing rhetoric from a Montgomery County legislator who's always been very supportive.

He wants to place our rights up for a popular vote on the ballot.

The governor's bill is not a gay rights bill.

Overall, it's a step in the right direction.
