The scores are terrible. From a board perspective, it's very frustrating to look at these scores and not see changes.

You are looking at not spending any dollars and saying that the work that we have done on our buildings is sufficient…to spending hundreds and millions of dollars.

The real purpose is to lay the groundwork to determine what we need to do with our buildings, what kind of shape they are in and what the future needs are. How much money do we want to put in our buildings, and what kind of shape do we want them to be in?

Obviously I don't know anything about who else was a candidate, ... But, looking at it from my perspective, I'm sure there are elements of what I have to offer which might seem safe. As for the shock of the new - I'm involved in a contemporary art museum in the Netherlands which has an international reputation as one of the best of the country. I've done exhibitions at the Van Gogh involving contemporary art and we've done work with modern painters, sculptors and photographers.

From an outsider's perspective I can understand it seems odd to open a new facility while another one is closing. But Red Rock is designed for a state contract.

I can't imagine him not coaching. I just can't imagine it. It really puts everything in perspective for me. I never saw that day coming.
