The production value is with the landscape, the mountains and the water, and the city. You can't beat it.

Transylvania County receives the highest rainfall total of anywhere east of the Rocky Mountains. We don't need a water park here because we have plenty of natural ones.

The Mountains to Sea Trail is an important link in a planned 5,000-mile trail system here in the Southeast. Participants in the volunteer vacation will help to take us one step closer to building out this great trail system for future generations.

There's still plenty of trout in the water and especially in the mountains they will carry over very well. Come May, June, July and August, there can still be some pretty good fly fishing activity.

The Mountains to Sea Trail is one of the premier hiking trails in America, and the sections along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Western North Carolina are especially beautiful.

Everything of value was up on things, but this water was just so high that it lifted everything up and everything was floating.
