The Mountains to Sea Trail is an important link in a planned 5,000-mile trail system here in the Southeast. Participants in the volunteer vacation will help to take us one step closer to building out this great trail system for future generations.

The Mountains to Sea Trail is one of the premier hiking trails in America, and the sections along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Western North Carolina are especially beautiful.

The production value is with the landscape, the mountains and the water, and the city. You can't beat it.

The idea of making pictures abroad is exciting when you're in Hollywood and have never worked in foreign countries. You think you'll get to see the sights and have all the fun that goes with traveling. Actually, you spend so much time on the job that you don't do much else.

It's a great way to give back. Without volunteers, trails would cease to exist.

It was more rugged than I had anticipated. It's beautiful. Sort of a frontier. The most you hear, other than the birds, are occasional planes passing overhead.
