The more we have species listed erroneously, on bad data, the less conservation and recovery resources there are to dedicate to those species truly in need.

Of course species need habitat to recover -- that's a no-brainer,

We do have federally listed species that use the forest, and we need to have a plan that protects those species as well as produces revenue, and that's what we've tried to do with the plan.

Managers today have to do more with less, and get better results from limited resources, more than ever before.

There is a major conservation with the front-loaders because they use less water. So we try to get our customers to use the more efficient washers and can charge less.

It is a success story in the history of conservation. And it's nice that it's happening to a species that means so much to this country.
