Riley has been consistent for us all year. He didn't have his greatest fastball, but he had excellent off-speed stuff that got him out of jams. Sixty percent of his pitches were strikes, and that always helps.

It wasn't the plan to go 2-3. But there were a lot of quality teams there. When you get a look at a lot of different lineups and pitchers, you don't know what's going to happen.

He had a good game on offense and defense. It's good that he is proving that he can play at shortstop and not just be limited to second base. So that was huge for us.

The pay raise for us was just a small issue of what's really wrong in Harrisburg - there's a much bigger picture. It's the overspending, the constant increase in taxes, a lack of free enterprise. Our state has not changed.

To be quite honest, I don't think they knew what to expect from us. We were getting defensive pressure, getting open looks and hitting shots. I don't think they realized how quick we were.

That's the reason this was such an important game. This gives us an opportunity to host a first-round playoff series if we can win out next week. That's what we wanted.
