[Rensselaer] is a much bigger team than we are, but I think they're pretty slow. We want to run the ball. If we can do that, the passing will take care of itself.

I made six pretty easy birdies in the pro-am so I had to stick in there after the start and hope there were some more birdies around the corner. Apart from missing a couple of short putts, it was a pretty good round.

I'd been putting pretty lousy coming into this and I knew I had to putt well. I just tried to do my part to be a senior leader, not getting mad at little shots and finally maturing enough to hit the good shots I need to hit.

We really played as a team defensively tonight. We've got each other's backs back there. We knew they were pretty good up front, but everybody worked well together and got the job done.

I like to think I can keep a pretty level head.

It was kind of a slow start, but after I had an eagle on seven, I played pretty well, ... I hit the ball straight and drove it well.
