Overall, it ended up being a great tournament. There was a lot of good wrestling by everyone.

Doug is really tough on his feet, and that can win you a lot of matches in the big tournaments. He?s not a real powerful kid, but his shots are low and well- calculated.

It?s a great show. Last year we got 90 percent of the state champions to compete.

Kevin is really wrestling well these days. He's doing a great job.

Hopefully, I'll be overlooked. Hopefully, I'll pull off my best wrestling at state.

I don't know if we expected to get trounced like that. But we had a lot of young guys wrestling against their seniors and juniors. We were hopeful we could wrestle a little better and not get pinned as much.
