Once we can get on top of the spam, we can address some of our internal e-mail issues.

There's lots of information to get out to students. E-mail [messages act as] a key role for that.

Testing on the spam filter last week went very well.

The spam filter [suggestion] came up last year. It was a request from the Technology Fee Committee, but the technology funds ran out. Additional funds from this year went toward the spam filter.

It didn't cost anything to e-mail it. I'm not sure exactly, but it normally takes only an hour or two for us to write something of that length. … Most of that information came from the speech, which was already developed.

I appreciate the forwarding function. It lets me have all the benefits of an added e-mail address without any of the frustration of checking separate e-mails.
