No one is too poor to give a smile -
a gift, often, of greater consequence than any sum of money.

It seems to me that no matter what religion you subscribe to, acts of kindness are the stepping-stones to making the world a better place--because we become better people in it.

Once you understand love, you don’t need a reward your kindness or compassion just like you don’t need a reward for breathing.

Tiny acts of kindness can have BIG results.

Think about how much better this world would be if people would just smile at each other more often...You don't have to talk; you don't have to agree on anything; all you have to do is smile! Smiling breaks barriers; it eases tension, and it's the first step to making a new friend.

Sometimes "No" is the kindest word.
