My darlings, if I can't write dark, epic music, I can't live!

I get most of my ideas while lying in bed in the dark. When ideas strikes me, I turn on my flashlight and write them down on 4x6 paper.

Right and wrong matters little when survival matters most.

If I rolled the dice carved out of my weathered bone
And offered of my blood the libation to the fane

My own clangorous thoughts are the last to remain

My biggest dream from the beginning - besides Evanescence - is scoring film and writing music for film.

Music is therapy for me. It's my outlet for every negative thing I've ever been through. It lets me turn something bad into something beautiful.
