Most organizations are having a difficult time getting their arms around their electronic repositories. As they made the mistake of allowing things to get out of hand years ago, it's now much more difficult to close Pandora's box.

Both of these organizations, unlike a professional lobbying firm, deal specifically with the issues we're dealing with. It only makes sense that we work with them.

We're problem-solvers for organizations, we're team-builders and we help when things get hot. Typically we're called in when the company is in reactive mode. It would be better -- and cost less -- if we got involved sooner. But organizations are more comfortable with lawyers when conflicts become big problems.

We know a lot of organizations have posted privacy policies that they don't live by, ... We have to make it costly not to walk the walk. If you don't have an enforcement arm, you won't change bad players.

There is lots of healthy conflict. Organizations that have sustained success have dealt with conflict in healthy ways.

I think it's a great example of a public-private partnership. I really wish the government entities in the past would have scrutinized other tax abatements as much as this.
