Mentally, he's so far beyond a sophomore it's amazing. He controls the offense, he controls the tempo of the game, and everything you ask him to do he does perfectly. And I've got him for two more years. I can't believe that.

Brown, as defensive captain, sets the tone all game long and refuses to allow anyone to play below his level. They go 100 percent intensity every play, and I'm blessed to have backups at every position who play almost as well as the first team. I've actually performed at Gay Pride in Atlanta three times in my career. I've always had a large gay following, particularly in the lesbian community. I am grateful for that. To me, it means my music transcends categories. It also means that I'm a cute girl singing a rock song in an alto voice!
