Leaders shouldn't attach moral significance to their ideas: Do that, and you can't compromise.

The leaders who work most effectively, it seems to me, never say 'I'. And that's not because they have trained themselves not to say 'I'. They don't think 'I'. They think 'we'; they think 'team'. They understand their job to be to make the team function. They accept responsibility and don't sidestep it, but 'we' gets the credit.... This is what creates trust, what enables you to get the task done.

If you want something new, you have to stop doing something old

I said we are ready for any new ideas to reach to some compromise on this issue. They are supporting some kind of nuclear apartheid which is not acceptable to us.

I have asked the leaders to settle the issues fast and reach a compromise as it will permit the Iraqi parliament to complete the draft constitution in time.
