Last year, there were not that many tornadoes in general across the country. This year, what we have seen so far is certainly like normal. It is too soon to say if it's unusually active, but it's certainly heading in that direction.

They tend to be more ready for severe weather in that part of the world, because it's been so much a part of their lives.

It's still just an anomaly, because when you measure tornado trends, you do it over a scale of decades, not three to four years. If this were to go on two to three more years, then you start to look harder. But it is something to note.

I'm a country singer. I love all kinds of music, but country is where my loyalty lies. That's just me and what I do, and I'm not going to change it.

If it's a good song and it fits me, that's what I'm going to do, I'm not out there trying to change the world. I'm just out there trying to sing country music the best way I can.

I loved making Pure Country. It was a great learning experience for me, seeing another part of the entertainment industry.
