Josh once again just proved that he is one of the better pitchers in this area. He's proven this over a long period of time, even before I was here.

I don't think Josh had his best stuff tonight, but he pitched well. His defense betrayed him a little in the middle innings.

It was just a hard-fought, well-played baseball game. The kids deserve a lot of credit for bouncing back after Friday.

That was the first time we had lost in, I don't know, a couple of months. So I wanted to see how the team would respond (Tuesday).

We're a little surprised, considering some of the teams we've played. But only a little surprised. I think we've earned the 7-1.

Both pitchers were matching zeros across the board the whole game. They scored one in the fifth and we came back with two in the sixth and that was the end of it. That was a great win. They're a pretty solid club.
