It's not getting any better. Our (Fast Fuel) stations have gas today. But we don't know about tomorrow. The oil companies aren't telling us anything.

Between Texas Instruments, the rise in oil prices, and commodities, we got hit today. But the decline wasn't terrible. Last week we had nice gains, and today, we're kind of consolidating.

Oil seems to be a tad off today. One of the reasons yesterday sold off so much was having that surge in oil. We're getting a little respite from that this morning.

The only thing that can stop further declines in the market today is a tame ISM figure and lower oil prices,

Today there is a very thin layer of insulation in the oil market amounting to approximately one million barrels a day, meaning that every small disruption, be it a hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico or riots in Nigeria or instability in the Middle East, immediately creates a rise in prices. This situation will be with us for a long time because there is no new spare capacity. Building spare capacity requires an investment of billions of dollars to create infrastructure that may sit idle most of the time. Nobody will invest on those terms,

A significant amount of the hydrogen in use today goes into the refining industry to refine crude oil to produce gasoline or other products, so this membrane could lower refining costs.
