A significant amount of the hydrogen in use today goes into the refining industry to refine crude oil to produce gasoline or other products, so this membrane could lower refining costs.

The best you can do in terms of pressurization for any of these processes is make hydrogen at or near feed pressure.

Our team originally set out to design membranes to purify hydrogen produced from coal. We felt that a good improvement would be to design membranes more permeable to impurities than to hydrogen.

We realize that we can't be perfect. The chips today are large and complex and have a lot of complex interactions on chip. They get used in many many different ways by many different customers and in ways that we as the chip provider never imagined when we first produced the chip.

Between Texas Instruments, the rise in oil prices, and commodities, we got hit today. But the decline wasn't terrible. Last week we had nice gains, and today, we're kind of consolidating.

It's not getting any better. Our (Fast Fuel) stations have gas today. But we don't know about tomorrow. The oil companies aren't telling us anything.
