It's an essential move. Winn-Dixie was in a downward spiral, and this kind of restructuring helps them pull out of it. If you've got a body that's sick, you perform major surgery. What we're seeing here is that major surgery.

I think it's a bit ho-hum. It's not a bad number, but if you open stores at 5 in the morning and give away free breakfasts and 4.3% is all you can do, in the most aggressive [day-after-Thanksgiving] campaign ever mounted by anyone, I think it says that the consumer doesn't have the money to spend.

Any kind of restructuring like this is a very holistic kind of thing where nothing is really sacred.

When you see the fan going, it's tilted downward so it'll pull some of the air down and distribute it through the orchard and hopefully increase the temp a couple degrees. Sometimes a couple degrees is all the difference in the world between saving and losing some of the crops.

There are many, many communities, many ethnic minorities, many civilizations that have been brutalised by others and you have to move on. You cannot perpetually stay in that place of blame, otherwise it's just a downward spiral.

The spiral is kind of like dessert. You would much rather have timing and accuracy. The spiral is not the main course. Does it top it off nice? Yeah. But it doesn't do anything to make the meal.
