It's a really good trend because people are using the property to the maximum density — and providing maximum property taxes for that land in return.

Those are the kinds of things that create the base of recreating a downtown because they bring people here.

All those people buy pizza, all those people get their dry cleaning done. And they pay taxes.

The opportunities are great because of the resources you already have are really strong. Particularly impressive are the cultural resources already available.

This is a great opportunity for Columbia to show itself off.

When this is finished, it will be a beautiful, pedestrian-friendly retail environment. It will have been worth it.
