It wasn't an argument, it was a diatribe. I've never seen anything like it. It's an insult to you (the jury).

I think this prosecutor got stuck with a rotten mackerel. He got stuck with a stinking, rotten mackerel he didn't buy.

Please, ladies and gentlemen, you stick that up in neon lights. He didn't do anything.

We will give no more than what was offered to the jury ? that is, that he was guilty of accessory after the fact and nothing else. If that will resolve it, fine. If not, there will be a third trial.

This was not a hate crime. It was not a killing because of gender.

Basically, what you really want to do is try to engage the viewer's body relation to his thinking and walking and looking, without being overly heavy-handed about it.
