It is our privilege to honor these talented and outstanding individuals who have led our culinary community to a whole new level.

The award goes to someone who has absolutely raised the bar on the culinary scene in Arizona.

He put T. Cook's on the map. He took the Royal Palms from an old, run-down motel to the marvelous resort it is and then created T. Cook's. Who else would we want to give it to?

To be able to be a student here is obviously a privilege, but especially during the flagship, it's an honor to be here with so many brilliant minds.

I think it's a wonderful honor and privilege to be called that. But you do it to his face. I ain't doing it.
