In the Vietnam War some counted on Jesus, others John Wayne, I went with the only one who would have me, General George S. Patton and General Patton walked me through Vietnam like it was a stroll in a park.

In my opinion, the word 'fear' is like the word love. It’s over used by people who can’t even define it. I experience both fear and guilt every time I’m around a mild mannered, well-educated male who is profoundly aware that he has one mouth and two ears and he uses them proportionally.

I am always pleased when a sharp and talented mind stays seated until the fat lady sings in my misanthrope operas.

And like turkeys that are led to the thanksgiving table with corn, you can lead any human with sex, money and/or drugs to the hangman’s noose.

All non-believers who have a comfortable lifestyle had better be glad there’s something that provides at least 90% of these 2.1 billion wildebeest, a/k/a Christians, with pleasure and gives them a reason to hope for a better deal next time. There isn’t a safe place on this planet to raise a family now. You take Jesus out of the equation and we’d no longer live in homes and drive cars…we’d live in compounds and drive tanks.
