I think that physicians have a responsibility to return these devices, or they can encourage families to return the devices to the manufacturer. We've been talking about this for 30 years ... Unfortunately, the devices end up in the hands of the lawyers.

Part of it is the responsibility of patients and part of it is physicians and trying to keep up with the latest guidelines for how intensively to treat high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
