I get scared of a lot of attention. I get scared of the spotlight. And I'm not talking about on the basketball court.

My relationship with Hubie was almost like father-son. It's a guy hooking up to a guy, talking about basketball, talking a lot about life. When he left, that hurt a lot of people on the team.

There is something joyous about not talking.

When you're talking to a prime audience bombarded by messages, to have them pay attention to what you say you have to create new and innovative ways to advertise that are more engaging, intelligent and entertaining.

If an officer rolled up on something that required his immediate attention and another officer or dispatcher was talking about their call at length that officer may be forced to exit his cruiser without telling another officer where he's at or what his problem is.

We're talking about a very captive audience. And this is one way to grab a guy's undivided attention.
