I feel like I connected with a lot of people today.

I had a blast out there today. The water is so much warmer here than my home -- it was great! It's always a good time at this event.

There are more people who would support Measure A today. But this is not a slam dunk. We need to focus on marketing.

The proposal I'm putting before the Council (today) is a result of all of the budget workshops they've had, all the information I've gleaned from that, plus the Council's goals and objectives.

On balance, it is healthy that these issues are being aired. People have been concerned about them and it is important to confront them.

The country's in a critical situation. People are hungry and there's no work, so the candidate has to be someone who's really got their act together. And really, I haven't seen anyone like that.
