I definitely wouldn't say the displacement has peaked. It's continuous.

They are being threatened. Their family members are being assassinated or kidnapped and they are leaving out of fear.

Some of them must leave behind even their identification. All of their food, their money.

Iraq is at a very precarious point now and security is continuously deteriorating. Until security is stabilized people will continue to be displaced due to sectarian violence.

It's just a record that is almost a blank slate. There's no sense of what he's doing for the citizens of this state. What's he fighting for on our behalf? I don't know the answer to that. I don't know if anyone does.

In pre-settlement times it had more wetlands than any part of the state. It was just a huge swamp at one time.
