He beat the hell out of a kid I know, twice.

It's a privilege to be admitted there. And especially when a school is private, they should have the power to choose who is worthy, for a lack of a better word.

Once he started doing stupid stuff, we just didn't hang out with him that much. Kind of left him alone. He was a nice kid, but could be a loose cannon.

I guess that's why they call it Hell.

What the hell would I do if I retired? I come in every morning, and after lunch we go to the bank and then to the house. I get in a good half-day's work, which is enough for me.

If I'd have known he was going to do that, hell, I'd have let him go. But he was in a lot of trouble, and he had to give it a whirl.
