Everyone has those little voices, whether they speak with words or not is optional but they're always there. One's called intuition and the other, guilt.

I felt pretty good today, I was trying to keep my consistency. I ran with a couple of guys for awhile, but then I was just pretty much racing with myself.

Before this year I hardly raced for the past couple of years. I'm just trying to get back into it and get more speed. I think the time off makes you more determined.

I was aiming for a 5:30 mile, but I'm still happy with my race. I didn't know where the other females were, I was just working off the guys. The females started coming closer and I saw them and pushed the speed a little more.
