Before this year I hardly raced for the past couple of years. I'm just trying to get back into it and get more speed. I think the time off makes you more determined.

I felt pretty good today, I was trying to keep my consistency. I ran with a couple of guys for awhile, but then I was just pretty much racing with myself.

I was aiming for a 5:30 mile, but I'm still happy with my race. I didn't know where the other females were, I was just working off the guys. The females started coming closer and I saw them and pushed the speed a little more.

I don't like to be second in anything. I was trying, I just wasn't going anywhere.

By trying to get revenue in this way, this has a lot of risk. It could put some important things in jeopardy.

The past six months have definitely been crazy, ... I'm really trying to settle down now. And that's one of the comforting things about [training] camp. It's all about basketball for me now.
